New 54 ft. Excursion Vessel for Destin, FL Area
Sunquest Cruises, Miramar Beach, FL recently took delivery of Sol y Luna, a 54 ft. 2-deck passenger vessel. The vessel was designed by DeJong & Lebet, Inc., Naval Architects, Jacksonville, FL and was built by Victoria Marine, Palatka, FL. The vessel is USCG certificated under Subchapter T and has a capacity of 110 passengers and crew on protected waters and 80 passengers and crew on partially protected waters. The vessel has a beam of 16’ and a draft of 2’-3”.
Sol y Luna features include a covered main deck seating area with (2) heads and a small bar area. The steering console is also located on the main deck. The 2nd deck is an open deck with some seating. Deck to deck height of 8 ft. provides excellent headroom on the covered main deck, as well as no stanchions except at the side railings, providing an open floor plan.
The twin hull vessel is constructed of welded aluminum and is powered by a pair of Yamaha 250 HP outboard motors.
The vessel carries 110 gallons of fuel on the main deck aft, with water and sewage tanks in the hulls.
