ENDLESS
DREAMS is U.S.
Coast Guard certified under Subchapter K, with a tonnage of 96-gross tons.
She can carry 500 passengers plus 10 crew on a partially protected route.
The
three-deck vessel features a large full length dining room with a raised forward
deck dining area on the Main Deck. The
Second Deck is a large function room, which can be set up for weddings, dancing,
cocktails, or dining. The Third Deck
level is an open passenger deck with the pilothouse forward.
The
hull level is used for a variety of purposes, which allows for the large full
length open Main Deck passenger area. Spacious
passenger restrooms are located in the hull aft of the engine room.
Forward of the engine room is a large 700 sq.ft. galley, and a separate
storeroom, which includes a 7’x10’ walk-in freezer and an 8’x10’ walk-in
cooler. An elevator is installed for
moving food carts from the galley to the dining room, furnished by Concord
Elevators. The large galley,
elevator, and walk-in coolers are fairly unique for this size vessel.
The
vessel is powered by a pair of Detroit Diesel Series 60 DDEC engines, developing
400 HP @ 1800 RPM. The engines are
coupled to Twin Disc 5114 reverse/reduction gears driving five-bladed Ellis
propellers. The vessel is equipped
with a 100 HP Wesmar electric dual prop bowthruster.
The thruster, electric motor, and controls were furnished by D.S. Hull,
Inc.
Electric
power on the vessel is supplied by two 150kW John Deere generators supplied by
C.K. Power. The main switchboard was
furnished by Power Panels, Inc.
The
vessel has several unique design features that are the combined efforts of the
Owner, Charter Memories, Inc., the on-site Project Manager/Marine Designer Bob
Curtis of Rhea Design Development ,
Costa Mesa
,
California
, and DeJong & Lebet, Inc. The
large aft main Deck windows are constructed with special A-0 class glass, which
allows them to face the embarkation area without size or shutter limitations.
The
Second Deck features a wide sliding glass and stainless steel partition to open
the interior area to the aft exterior deck to take advantage of temperate
Southern California
weather.
This partition can be closed for bad weather, or for hot weather which
could require the air conditioning to be in use.
The Second Deck side windows have continuous glass from forward to aft to
create the modern yacht look.
Other
features of the vessel include a full bar on each enclosed deck with central
beverage system, a large dance floor on the Second Deck, and a Bride's dressing
room on the Second Deck. The aft
open deck features a stunning set of port and starboard stairs, with Lucite and
stainless steel railings. Custom
stainless steel railings and trim are featured throughout the interior, along
with rich wood grain wall coverings. Custom
stainless steel exterior doors are fitted throughout the vessel.
The vessel is equipped with a sprinkler system for added safety.
